The North Carolina Vacation Rental Act Requires That We Offer To You Travel Insurance Which You May Decline
If you cancel your reservation under certain circumstances, a refund of the rent and other fees may not be returned to you but may be covered by the Vacation Insurance policy (see the complete CSA200 plan here).
How Much Insurance Do You Need?
It would be prudent to insure the total amount of money you would lose if, on your day of check-in, you cannot show up or other covered circumstances occur. That way, you are insuring 100% of the money you could be forfeiting.
The cost of coverage is 6.5% of the amount you wish to insure (your potential loss).
