Suitability:	WOLF DEN Cabin is not equipped to handle wheelchairs - the doors are "standard" width and there are stairs going up and down from the entry level floor. However, the bathroom on the entry level floor is equipped with grab bars in the shower/tub, a seven foot shower hose (with pause control on the handle) and a bathtub chair. An elderly/infirm person can access the cabin easily with little walking from a vehicle on level ground and can enjoy most amenties including a bedroom, the bathroom, the living/dining area, the kitchen, the covered front porch and the covered rear porch/balcony without leaving the entry level floor. Smoking is NEVER ALLOWED inside WOLF DEN Cabin Pets are not allowed. NO EXCEPTIONS!

What You Should Consider Bringing
to WOLF DEN Cabin

We provide; sheets, blankets, pillows, towels, wash cloths and bath mats. The kitchen is fully stocked with almost every piece of cookware you'll need for cooking with plenty of plates, bowls, cups, glasses and flatware for dining. However, if there is something special you require, you should ask us to see if we have it in the kitchen.
We provide one roll of toilet paper per bathroom and there are often some paper towels in the kitchen. There are liquid soap dispensers at the sinks in the bathrooms, but there is no guarantee they are full (we do try to make sure there is some soap in them).
Guests Renting the Cabin Should Consider Bringing the Following Items to Make Stays More Comfortable:
Some of these items may be left over from previous renters, but there is no guarantee. Remember, it's about a 15 mile drive to the nearest grocer in Wilkesboro. PLAN AHEAD!

Sunscreen
Ice - there is a typical ice maker in the freezer, but if you will be consuming a lot of ice you might consider bringing a bag.
Ziplock Storage Bags - there may or may not be this type of item
Foil - there may or may not be this type of item
Plastic Wrap - there may or may not be this type of item
Games - there are several games, chess, scrabble, a poker set, etc
Favorite Books, DVD's or CD's - there are over 80 DVD movies at the cabin in many film genres
Area Maps - there are some copies of maps in the Visitors Guide but we recommend bringing your own.
Unusual Spices - there are a lot of typical spices in our kitchen.
Condiments/Butter - not provided
Cooking Oil - not provided
Your favorite Pillow - all beds have pillows, but some guests like to bring their own.
Your Camera - there are definitely good picture opportunities here.
Trash Bags - large Contractor size for outside trash can and 20 - 30 Gallon size for the Kitchen Trash Can. Please make sure all cans remain clean by lining them with plastic bags at all times.
Insect Repellant - depending on the time of year.
Change of Shoes - if you've been hiking around in the red dirt, we ask that you clean your shoes or leave them outside. It's real easy to track the red dirt into the cabin (we know, we've done it). It's nice to have a clean pair of shoes to put on when the others are too muddy. There is a shoe/boot scraper at each cabin entrance.
